How do you say "there's no sound," as in a soundless video? 聲音不出啊 is my guess, but is it alright? There is supposed to be a nuance of surprise at there not being sound. Or maybe 視頻不發聲啊 would be better?

you said correct, "声音不出" is better than "視頻不發聲啊", I say: 喇叭没有声音,or "音频不发声".
So 聲音不出啊 was right, eh? I guess what they say about your first guess is right! haha
